All I ever see these days -  whether it’s on my Tumblr dashboard, Facebook newsfeed, out and about in society or talking to people I know, is people who continue to be in a relationship which clearly isn’t working or with somebody who makes them absolutely miserable and feel shit about themselves.

Your teeenage years should be about being happy, enjoying your youth while it lasts, finding your true self, spending time with your fabulous friends and having the time of your life. Being in a relationship that doesn’t make you feel great will turn your teenage years into miserbale and heart breaking ones, and who the hell wants to live like that?

If you are in a relationship which makes you feel insecure about yourself, jealous because of the way your partner flirtaciously engages with other people, confused about where the both of you stands with each other, ignored, used and especially makes you feel horrible & wanting to cry your eyes out all the time. There is only one word I have to say to you: Leave!

Do not sit around on your blog and complain throughout the relationship that things aren’t going well. That you’re sad, or want to cry or hurt yourself, or you feel horrible about yourself because of the person you’re with. You don’t deserve to go through that and you’re better off leaving the person and hurting afterwards for a little while than not leaving them and staying with them for a long time enduring a lot of pain and heartbreak.

And yes the majority of people who do this do happen to be girls, but mind you I have seen lots of guys who do the exact same thing! If you suspect that your girl might be ‘playing you’ or seems to keep her options open for lots of guys to flirtaciously engage with her there really is no point in staying with her is there? Believe it or not, girls can be horrible as hell.

Do not stand for such bullshit. You are all fucking amazing people, each and every single one of you and you all deserve the world. You deserve the best in life and if you feel the person you’re with doesn’t make you feel like that then I promise you that whether its tomorow, next month or next year you will find the most perfect person who will never give you any reason whatsoever to complain.

But as for the relationship you’re currently in, It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been together, the so called ‘connection you feel’, whether or not you are ‘soul mates’ - even though you’re teens (Yes I have seen too many failed relationships where they think they are indeed soul mates). The bottom line is:

If you happen to be in a relationship with somebody like that, there really is no point staying around to become more attatched and become harder for it to leave - So just do it. I promise you in the long run it’ll make your life a lot better.
